Think Pink: Our Favorite Ways to Style This Happy Hue

Playful and fun, pink is the color of our dreams. It’s such a beautiful and fun color to wear that no matter how you style it, you can’t help but love it.

Think Pink: Our Favorite Ways to Style This Happy Hue

Cheerful, romantic, pretty and passionate, is there any color more precious than pink? It’s the color of our childhoods – bubblegum, strawberries, cotton candy, watermelon. Pink just makes you happy when you see it. We’ve been pleased as punch to see it on the fashion world’s radar the past few years. From millennial pink to barbiecore, this happy hue is flattering on just about every skin tone and we can’t get enough of it in our collections.

As Valentine’s Day is next week, we wanted to highlight this lovable hue. Here are some of our favorite ways to style pink outfits.

Spin the Color Wheel

Want to know a secret? Pink goes with just about every other color, from neutrals to blue and green. We even like a color-blocked outfit with pink and red – think, a pink dress with red heels. While this might not be a look for the office, it certainly strikes the right note for a Valentine’s Day party.

Mix with Menswear

As pink has a feminine connotation (but of course, everyone can and should wear pink!), it looks really good when balanced with menswear pieces. A delicate pink top, like our Esme Top looks gorgeous with a pair of tailored trousers in white or black. It can even be worn with a suit for a balance of hard and soft edges. Finish your look with some loafers and cat eye sunnies.

Sparkle & Shine

If you’re looking to bring a little more pizzazz to your pink look, dress it up with gold accessories. We love wearing our Nuna Siembra Reversible Skirt with gold jewelry and sandals – it gives luxe tropical resort vibes that make us feel like we’re on vacation all the time.

Monochromatic

We adore a monochromatic look, but you do have to be a little careful when mixing different shades of pink to avoid looking too childlike. To keep things sophisticated, try a hot pink suit or an all-light-pink look. Adding a white coat or faux leather jacket might be the perfect way to break up your outfit in a chic way.

Retro ‘70s

Take a page from the 1970s and pair your pinks with retro floral motifs and flowy silhouettes. The boldness of the color fits perfectly with the fun-loving, open-mindedness of the era and we think that is something to celebrate. You’ll find many of our pink designs are inspired by ‘70s psychedelic patterns, including our flared Clarita Pant and Emiliana Dress.

Playful and fun, pink is the color of our dreams. It’s such a beautiful and fun color to wear that no matter how you style it, you can’t help but love it. Stay rosy, and Happy Valentine’s Day!
